'Punha Shivajiraje Bhosle' is a gripping socio-political drama that delivers a powerful message about the state of modern-day Maharashtra, framed by a profound spiritual awakening. The film begins with a chilling prologue in the heart of rural India: the suicide of a struggling farmer, crushed under debt and betrayal. This devastating tragedy leaves behind a young, fiercely determined girl named Rakhma, whose world is shattered, but whose spirit refuses to break.
