“Without really knowing why, I was convinced I’d find a treasure in my family’s box of home movies. I vaguely remember sitting as a child in front of the flickering light of the projector, watching those films on the screen. Yet I have no memory of seeing the images at that time. What could have led me, years later, to that basket full of 8mm films, stored on the top shelf of the closet in my parents’ bedroom?” - Louise Bourque
