BABYMETAL's performance at Summer Sonic 2013 marked a significant moment in their early career, as they brought their distinct fusion of J-pop and heavy metal to one of Japan's largest music festivals. With Su-metal, Yuimetal, and Moametal leading the charge, the group captivated the audience with their high-energy performance and unique stage presence. Their set included early hits like "Doki Doki ☆ Morning" and "Ijime, Dame, Zettai," which showcased their blend of catchy pop melodies with intense metal instrumentation.
