Ethan Pastrana
Ethan Pastrana holds a bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Philology from the UPV/EHU and a master’s degree in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature from the USAL. His research and creative work focuses on intermediality, which has led him to explore the theoretical and expressive boundaries between literature, film, and music. However, his direct involvement with the audiovisual medium as a space for collaborative creation began with the short film Esperanza H. (2024), directed by Josu Petite, in which he served as a camera assistant. In Catenaria (2026), alongside Josu Petite and Marina Vargas, he consolidated his multidisciplinary involvement in amateur filmmaking, taking on various roles in production, direction, and audiovisual creation.
