Voices of Fire

Tears fall as the praises go up on day two when the judges and guest Pharrell look for one-of-a-kind vocalists who can bring the energy and emotion.

After a third round of sweet surprises, the judges select 25 sopranos, 25 altos and 25 tenors and then scour venues for the choir’s debut performance.

Choirmaster Patrick tests the finalists' abilities to harmonize during rehearsals as some are let go and others struggle to keep up.

Days away from the group's debut, the final cuts are made. Two vocalists navigate unique challenges and are called out to sing for a solo spot.

In front of a huge congregation in Norfolk, Virginia, the choir gives an astounding, uplifting performance before receiving major news from Pharrell.
