Now playingWhen journalist Charlie returns home to Lakefield, she stumbles upon the lifeless body of her friend Angela—just hours after arriving. What was meant to be a visit turns into an urgent investigation.
Charlie begins to connect the dots between Angela’s death and the mysterious drowning of 9-year-old Evie. But the deeper she digs, the more personal—and dangerous—it gets.
Bruce, Evie’s grieving father, becomes a person of interest—but his cryptic words point to a deeper motive. Charlie is left wondering if she's looking at a killer... or a broken man seeking justice.
An SD card hidden in Bruce’s ute reveals locked files that could blow the case wide open. But the truth isn’t just buried—it’s protected. And everyone has something to hide.
As the truth comes to light, Charlie must make a choice: publish the story or protect the people she loves. Justice, legacy, and healing converge in an emotional series finale.
