In the first months of the war, three young people – Rita, Vanya and Yashka – find themselves embroiled in a terrible crime: Rita’s parents are brutally murdered, Yashka becomes an unwitting accomplice to the murder, and Vanya becomes an accidental witness. There, against the backdrop of war, they will discover the truth about themselves and unravel the mystery of Rita's parents' deaths.

Also assigned to this unit are Vanya, who is in love with Rita and accidentally witnesses her parents' murder, and the hooligan Yashka. From now on, the boys are members of Team 8, without names, without a past, without hope of returning.
