Up nextLara lives with her mother and younger sister, Lena, who is still in high school. Ever since her mother was diagnosed with cancer, Lara has had to take out loans to pay for her mother’s treatment. Her salary as a dance instructor at a studio isn’t enough to cover her debts. Lara is being pressured to pay off her debts immediately, which are growing larger by the day. Lara follows her best friend Erica’s advice to audition as a sexy dancer at a nightclub. After borrowing money from the club’s owners—Mami Jill and Anjay—Lara finally lands the job. Mami Jill gives Lara the stage name “DIANA.” Lara must keep her new profession a secret from everyone, including her family and the dance studio where she has been teaching all this time.
