DMCA & Copyright Policy

7Movies does not host, store, upload, stream or distribute any video or media file. The site is an index: it shows publicly available title information (from TMDB) and embeds players that fetch video from unaffiliated third-party servers. No media passes through or is stored on our infrastructure.

1. Third-party content

Every stream reachable through 7Movies is located, in real time, on third-party websites and services that we neither operate nor control. We do not curate, upload or manage those files, and we cannot delete them: they do not live on our servers. Removing a link from 7Movies stops the title from being reachable here, but the file stays wherever the third party hosts it. For a complete takedown you must also contact that host.

2. Our response to notices

We respect intellectual-property rights and act on valid notices. When we receive a complete notice we block the reported title on every source the site can reach, so the player refuses to load it, and we keep a record of the claim. Accounts that repeatedly link to or promote infringing material are terminated.

3. Sending a notice

Email [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA notice". To be acted on, a notice must contain:

  • The exact 7Movies URL(s) where the material appears.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed (title, and a registration number or official link if available).
  • Your name, organisation, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
  • Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices, notices that name a domain rather than specific URLs, and automated bulk submissions without the statements above may not be processed. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can create legal liability for the sender.

4. Counter-notice

If you believe material was blocked by mistake or misidentification, email [email protected] a counter-notice containing: your name, address and telephone number; the URL(s) that were blocked; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts for your address (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which 7Movies may be found) and to accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice; and your physical or electronic signature.

5. Repeat infringers

We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, and we may restrict access from sources that repeatedly submit infringing links.

Copyright contact: [email protected]. This page describes how to report a claim; it is not legal advice.
